The Kutumb Project

Throughout the world, the urban phenomenon of street children is growing, and in many places it is so overwhelming that it is largely unaddressed. Countless vulnerable homeless children grow up on the margins of society without love, care, education and the supervision of adults. Within the slums of Varanasi, India, an inspired partner project, Kutumb, is meeting this problem directly—helping kids with nothing resembling childhood to have lives of greater promise and dignity.

The 4th Annual Vision Builders 5k is set for Saturday, May 8 at Hudson Mills Metropark, Dexter, Michigan. This family-focused event features a competitive 5k run, 5k fun walk (dogs welcome!), free pancake breakfast and outstanding kids activities.
